Analysis and Proof of the Riemann Hypothesis by Bahattin Gunes

The editors of the J. of Ramanujan Society of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences and the author, Bahattin Gunes, jointly wish to issue a full retraction of the article "Analysis and Proof of the Riemann Hypothesis."

The retraction is based on an internal and external peer review conducted post publication that identified fundamental mathematical errors in the derivation central to the proposed proof. Specifically, the argument concerning the location of the non-trivial zeros relies on the invalid substitution of an asymptotic approximation for an exact analytic function within a limit relationship (Section D, equations 3.16-3.17). This non-rigorous mathematical maneuver invalidates the conclusion that the non-trivial zeros must lie on the critical line $\sigma = 1/2$.

The author and the journal deeply regret this error and apologize to the scientific community for any confusion caused. The paper should be considered withdrawn from the scientific literature.
